The Committee of the London P&I Club is comprised of senior figures from the shipowning industry, drawn from the world’s leading shipping centres and representing the major sectors of global blue water trade.

In addition to the governance of the Club and monitoring of related matters ranging from finances and reinsurance, to claims and corporate regulations, the Committee takes a very keen interest indeed in key strategic issues facing the P&I industry as a whole. As such, it attaches particular significance to the London Club’s central role in the work of the International Group of P&I Clubs – helping to ensure that the complex challenges which from time to time confront shipowners and the mutual insurance system are addressed effectively and in light of proper debate and analysis.
